Masjid's toilet is constructed with the money of a person who is a muslim by birth and the said persons business is running a cards club and a beer bar ...Such money is allowed or not?

Question

In our area there are many muslims, many Masjid's are here, many of the Masjid's toilet is constructed with the money of a person who is a muslim by birth and the said persons business is running a cards club and a beer bar with ladies dancing,Please supply me a Fatawa for this situation. Such money is allowed or not.

Answer

It is not permissible to construct a toilet for a Musjid with income accrued through unlawful sources.

We suggest you request the Musjid officials to contact us and we will assess the situation accordingly.
