I need to know the meaning of Asif & Ashif? Which is the most suitable name of the two?

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

The name Asif originates from the Arabic word Asafa which means to be strong (English Arabic dictionary Pg 616).

We cannot locate the name Ashif.
