Please explain how do we end our Fardh Salaah of Maghrib

Question

please explain how do we end our fard salah of magrib.

i understand - the atahiythu after the 2nd rakaah, but i am confused how to to end it, like sajdah, do we just make our salam to the right and left. is that correct. do we not repeat attahiyathu.

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

In the third rakaat of Maghrib Salaat, when you sit down for Attahiyaat, recite Durood e Ibrahim and any other dua from Quran and Hadeeth and make salaam to right and left.

And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
