Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah

I have heard that a woman should keep her hair plaited and not in a bun and that her salaah is not accepted if her hair is in a bun. Is this true and what is the reason for this? Jazakallah.

The information that a female's Salaat is not accepted if her hair is in a bun is incorrect.
