Can one apply oils/creams while fasting?

Question

Can I apply oils and other cream/gels wihich will make my skin and hairs look healthy/shiny and young while fasting?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykumwa-rahmatullāhiwa-barakātuh.

It is permissible for one to apply oil, cream, etc to one’s skin and hair while fasting.[1]

1 او ادهن أو اكتحل أو احتجم و ان وجد طعمه في حلقه أي طعم الكحل أو الدهن كما في السراج (رد المحتار، ج 2، ص395 ، أيج ايم سعيد)

و المفطر انما هو الداخل من المنافذ للاتفاق علي من اغتسل في ماء فوجد برده في باطنه انه لا يفطر (رد المحتار، ج 2، ص 396)
