Question

Assalamuwalaikum.

If someone has wet dream during fasting period in ramadan, how does it affect the fasting. Does he need to do the fasting again?

Jazakallah khayer!

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

As-salaamu `alaykum wa-ramatullahi wa-barakatuh.

A wet dream does not invalidate ones fast. The fast will remain valid and it does not have to be repeated.[1]
