Can you please tell me the meaning for the names sophia,sumaiya. and are they Muslim names?

Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuhu

Safiyya - means best, true, honest friend.

Sumayya - lofty, of high rank. Name of a Sahaabiyya.

and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
