Question

After passing wind is it required to do istinja or just wudu? in order to pray

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is not required to do istinja after passing wind. Making wudu will suffice[1].
