Question

If a person has a problem bending their knees, can the person start their namaaz standing, perform rukr normally, and then sit on a chair for the sajda and jalsa. After the sajda, the person will stand up again and continue the namaaz in this way. Is this method correct? If not, please suggest the best method.

It is permissible for the person experiencing difficulties with his knees to commence his Salaat in a standing posture and perform Ruku and Sajdah whilst sitting on the chair.
