What are the consequences if one disobeys his Shaykh/Peer?

Alhumdulillah, it is pleasing to note that you have taken bay`ah and your honorable Shaykh has prescribed zikr for you. The most important factor in bay`ah is building a close relationship with your Shaykh and benefitting from his spirituality.
