Is it permissible to look at ones wife's private part?

Question

I have place the question 3 months before, unfortunately I don't get any reply. When you answer the question please send notification to the sender so he/she can know that the question is answered in which date.

My question , Is it permissible to look wife's private part? Some people are saying physical disable baby will born if anyone look to private part in the time sexual intercoursce some people says it decrease the power of eyes!! Which one is wright and what say Islam?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Shariah emphasizes on shame and modesty in all aspects of life including during intimacy with ones spouse.

In reference to the query, while it is permissible, it is undesirable[1].

[1] قال في البدائع : وَيَحِلُّ النَّظَرُ إلَى عَيْنِ فَرْجِ الْمَرْأَةِ الْمَنْكُوحَةِ لِأَنَّ الِاسْتِمْتَاعَ بِهِ حَلَالٌ فَالنَّظَرُ إلَيْهِ أَوْلَى إلَّا أَنَّ الْأَدَبَ غَضُّ الْبَصَرِ عَنْهُ مِنْ الْجَانِبَيْنِ لِمَا رُوِيَ عَنْ سَيِّدَتِنَا عَائِشَةَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا - أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَمَا نَظَرْت إلَى مَا مِنْهُ وَلَا نَظَرَ إلَى مَا مِنِّي 5\ 119

قال في البحر الرائق: (وَيَنْظُرُ الرَّجُلُ إلَى فَرْجِ أَمَتِهِ وَزَوْجَتِهِ) يَعْنِي عَنْ شَهْوَةٍ وَغَيْرِ شَهْوَةٍ قَالَ - عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ - «غُضَّ بَصَرَكَ إلَّا عَنْ زَوْجَتِكَ، وَأَمَتِكَ» وَمَا رُوِيَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ «قَالَتْ كُنْت أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي إنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ» وَلِأَنَّهُ يَجُوزُ لَهُ الْمَسُّ وَالْغِشْيَانُ فَالنَّظَرُ أَوْلَى إلَّا أَنَّ الْأَوْلَى أَنْ لَا يَنْظُرَ كُلٌّ مِنْهُمَا إلَى عَوْرَةِ صَاحِبِهِ لِقَوْلِهِ - عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ - «إذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ زَوْجَتَهُ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ وَلَا يَتَجَرَّدَانِ تَجَرُّدَ الْبَعِيرِ» 8\ 220

قال في حاشية ابن عابدين : قَوْلُهُ وَالْأَوْلَى تَرْكُهُ) قَالَ فِي الْهِدَايَةِ: الْأَوْلَى أَنْ لَا يَنْظُرَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا إلَى عَوْرَةِ صَاحِبِهِ لِقَوْلِهِ - عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ - «إذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَهْلَهُ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ وَلَا يَتَجَرَّدَانِ تَجَرُّدَ الْعِيرِ» 6\367
