Wudu with contact lenses

Question

I just want to ask is wudhu valid with contact lenses on?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The inner parts of the eyes do not have to be washed in Wudu.[1] As such, wudu is valid with contact lenses on.

(لَا غَسْلُ بَاطِنِ الْعَيْنَيْنِ)...... لِأَنَّهُ شَحْمٌ يَضُرُّهُ الْمَاءُ الْحَارُّ وَالْبَارِدُ، وَهَذَا لَوْ اكْتَحَلَ بِكُحْلٍ نَجِسٍ لَا يَجِبُ غَسْلُهُ كَذَا فِي مُخْتَارَاتِ النَّوَازِلِ لِصَاحِبِ الْهِدَايَةِ. (2) ) ( ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا)...... غَيْرَ أَنَّ إدْخَالَ الْمَاءِ فِي الْعَيْنَيْنِ لَيْسَ بِشَرْطٍ ؛ لِأَنَّ الْعَيْنَ شَحْمٌ لَا يَقْبَلُ الْمَاءَ ، وَفِيهِ حَرَجٌ أَيْضًا فَمَنْ تَكَلَّفَ لَهُ مِنْ الصَّحَابَةِ - رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ - كُفَّ بَصَرُهُ فِي آخِرِ عُمْرِهِ كَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ . (3) وَإِدْخَالُ الْمَاءِ في دَاخِلِ الْعَيْنَيْنِ ليس بِوَاجِبٍ لِأَنَّ دَاخِلَ العينين ( ( ( العين ) ) ) ليس بِوَجْهٍ لِأَنَّهُ لَا يُوَاجَهُ إلَيْهِ وَلِأَنَّ فيه حَرَجًا وَقِيلَ أن من تَكَلَّفَ لِذَلِكَ من الصَّحَابَةِ كُفَّ بَصَرُهُ كَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ رضي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ (بدائع الصنائع - ث (1/ 4)
