Question

Is it permissable for a male to adorn the ihram from Masjid A'aisha if he wishes to perform another Umrah? I was infirmed by a scholar in Makkah that Masjid A'aisha is only for the ladies as per the Hadith of A'aisha (RA) was not content on just Haj.

If he was right then does that mean my third Umrah was void? I did it on behalf of my father.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Masjid -e-Aishah is a meeqaat for males and females staying inside the boundaries of meeqat wanting to perform Umrah.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
