Is live video call permissible?

Question

is it pemissible live video call?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

There are differences of opinions amongst Ulama on the permissibility and non-permissibility of live video calling. The Darul Iftaa holds the latter view.[1]
