Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

As-salaamu `alaykum wa-ramatullahi wa-barakatuh.

May Allah Ta`ala keep you steadfast on Islaam. Aameen.

It is permissible for you to be a government employee on condition the employment itself is not sinful.

You may search for various options that are available even as a government employee and consult your local Imaam or revert to us for guidance. We will guide you accordingly.

And Allah Ta`ala Knows Best.

Hussein Muhammad.
