I heard that looking at the 'farj e daakhil' of a woman establishes hurmat musaaharat. What is meant by the 'farj e daakhil'?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Your understanding is correct.

Farj-e-Dhaakhl is the inner part of a woman’s front private organ/ the opening of the vagina.

The inner part of a woman’s private organ can be seen when she is lying down or reclining on her back. [1]

The vulvar vestibule (or vulvar vestibule or vestibule of vagina) is a part of the vulva between the labia minora into which the urinary meatus (urethral opening) and the vaginal opening open. [2]

وَالنَّظَرُ إلَى الْفَرْجِ الَّذِي تَتَعَلَّقُ بِهِ الْحُرْمَةُ هُوَ النَّظَرُ إلَى الْفَرْجِ الدَّاخِلِ دُونَ الْخَارِجِ، وَإِنَّمَا يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ إذَا كَانَتْ مُتَّكِئَةً أَمَّا إذَا كَانَتْ قَاعِدَةً مُسْتَوِيَةً أَوْ قَائِمَةً لَا تَثْبُتُ الْحُرْمَةُ بِالنَّظَرِ

وَلَنَا أَنَّ الْمَسَّ وَالنَّظَرَ سَبَبٌ دَاعٍ إلَى الْوَطْءِ فَيُقَامُ مُقَامَهُ فِي مَوْضِعِ الِاحْتِيَاطِ، ثُمَّ الْمَسُّ بِشَهْوَةٍ أَنْ تَنْتَشِرَ الْآلَةُ أَوْ تَزْدَادَ انْتِشَارًا هُوَ الصَّحِيحُ، وَالْمُعْتَبَرُ النَّظَرُ إلَى الْفَرْجِ الدَّاخِلِ وَلَا يَتَحَقَّقُ ذَلِكَ إلَّا عِنْدَ اتِّكَائِهَا
