Question

Asalaamalaikum

I faced one awkward situation during Haj time.

We started from Arafat to muzdalifa by bus and I was standing

A lady from behind was touching me and was falling on me. I tried to move forward so as to make a gap but she kept falling and I told her twice that why are you falling. Her reply was there was a push from behind as the bus was full. I tried as much distance to maintain as I was in Ihram and was praying to Allah and reading Istigfar. Please let me know is there any expedition I have to offer.

As soon as we reached muzdalifa , I got down quickly

One mufti told me that there would be many things we unknowingly do in Ihram and we should oftendoing sadqah to poor people and I was offering same while I was in Makkah and Madina.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

We make dua Allah grant you the barakaat (blessings) of Hajj for a longtime. You did not commit any violation in the incident in reference. The women falling on you does not necessitate dam. Accordingly, there is no expiation (damm or sadaqah) due in the incident you refer to.[i]

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best.
