Question

So, how do you believe these people will be accounted for dying in a state of Kufr?

Answer

We do agree with you. The possibility cannot be ruled out. However, the faith of any person is decided only by Allah and not by any person.

Allah Ta'ala will definitely treat each person with justice, and will take into account the circumstances in which the person found himself/herself.
