Can I wear a watch while in the state of Ihram?

Question

Is it jaiz for a person to wear a watch when they in ihram?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to wear a watch in the state of Ihram.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best

أما إذا ائتزر بالسراويل أو ارتدى بالقميص أو اتشح به فلا شيء عليه؛ لأنه يحتاج إلى تكلف حفظه على نفسه عند اشتغاله بالعمل فلا يكون لابسا للمخيط
