I gambled in past and now I don't know what to do with the money. I will repent to allah and ensure that it won't happen again. But should I throw away the money? or should I give it to charity??
Question
I realize I have comitted a sin. I would like your advice on what I should do now.
Answer
The amount earned through gambling is Haraam (strictly prohibited). In principle, Haraam monies should be given away as charity to the poor and needy.

Where scholars differ, it’s safer to take the more cautious view.
