Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah

I am a convert to islam.I want to know what is the sin for watching pornographic movies and masturbate.i cannot leave this habit! Please guide as I am nervous to talk about this in front of scholars.

Answer

There is no reason for you to be ashamed to address such issues. If one has a problem, it has to be addressed. Being silent and ashamed will not solve the problem.

Watching pornographic movies and masturbating are both grievous and heinous sins. It is highly possible that watching the nude and immoral movies excite one?s passion which leads to masturbation. Kindly refer attached.
