Eid Salaah Not Being Waajib For A Woman

Question

Please advise if Eid salaah is obligatory on women?

Answer

The Eid Salaah is Waajib upon those individuals upon whom Jumuah is Waajib. Jumuah is not Waajib upon women, hence Eid Salaah will also not be Waajib upon women.
