Question

A woman didn’t stop bleeding after 40 days of Nifaas. She is in Istihaadha. From when will it be counted as Haidh again?

Will it be 15 days, or will she look at her Tuhr period prior to childbirth?

What if her Tuhr period was more or less the same? Approximately 22-25 days?

Answer

We assume that this is your first child. Hence, in your particular instance, after the 40 days of Nifaas, you will revert to your previous Tuhr and Haidh habit. You should look at your last Tuhr before childbirth and use that as your habit for Tuhr, since you stated that you have a habit of 22-25 days.
