Question

Is it Makrooh for a person performing Hajj to keep the 9 Fasts of Zul Hijjah ?

Answer

It is Makrooh for a Haaji to fast on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah (i.e. the day of Arafah) if the fasting will lead to weakness. We haven’t found any prohibition for fasting until the 8th of Dhul Hijjah for the Haaji.
