Question

Do Hanafis have to wipe the neck (Masah) when making Wudhu?

Answer

It is Mustahab (preferable) to make Masah of the nape (back portion of the neck) in the Hanafi Madhab. Furthermore, to make Masah of the throat is a Bidah (innovation).
