Abusing Hotel Discounts

Question

Q. There are hotels that offer discounts for bookings done by pensioners with the condition that the pensioner is the one who will stay at the hotel. Can I as a non-pensioner make an arrangement with the pensioner to do the booking at the discount so that I can stay there?

Answer

Since the discount is reserved for pensioners only, it will not be permissible for you as a non-pensioner to benefit from this discount. This is considered as deception and is therefore not permissible.
