Is it permissible for females to remove the hair on their legs?

Question

Could you please clarify the Islamic ruling with regards to woman shaving or waxing their legs?

Answer

It is permissible for a woman to remove the hair from her legs by shaving or waxing etc. (Raddul Muhtaar, Pg: 373, Vol: 6, al-Maktabah at-Tijariyyah)
