Ghusl After an Internal Sonar?
Question
Is Ghusl required after an internal sonar?
Answer
Undergoing an internal sonar will invalidate one’s Wudhu, but not one’s Ghusl. Accordingly, Ghusl is not required after an internal sonar. [Tahtaawi 101]
However, such a procedure should only be undertaken when medically required. If a regular ultrasound/sonar will suffice, an internal sonar should not be done.
