Assalaamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuhu,

Is it permissible to wear shoes made of pigskin?

Answer

Waalaikum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

The answer to your query is as follows:

الجواب حامدا ومصليا

It will be impermissible for one to wear anything made out of pig skin as the usage of any part of the pig is impermissible due to the fact of the pig being impure in totality. This includes the skin of the pig even if it goes through the tanning process.
