Question

What is the mas’ala if a neighbour’s fruit tree is hanging over the wall into my yard, is it allowed to take from the fruits which are in my yard but are not mines ?

Answer

As salām ʿalaikum wa raḥmatullāhī wa barakātuhū

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The fruit tree branches hanging into your yard belongs to your neighbour. It is not permissible to take from the fruits from your neighbour’s tree without their consent.

And Allāh Taʿālā knows best.
