Joining the Imaam in the last tashahhud

Question

If you join the jamaat in the last rakaat while the imaam is in tashahud, is your salaat valid or is it preferable to read alone?

Answer

One should join the jamaat even though the Imaam is in the last qa'dah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
