Elder brother taking care of his siblings

Question

I have some questions. Please help me. To fullfil all financial needs of siblings in fardh on elder brother? Can a boy live with his brother in-law?

Answer

1. If the father is not in a position to take care of his children and the elder brother is financially stable and the rest of the siblings are unable to take care of themselves then he should take care of them according to his means.

2. Yes, if the brother-in-law does not mind.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
