Relations before rukhsati

Question

Is sexual intimacy prior to bridal departure (rukhsati) permissible if Nikkah is already done. If this is not permissible then why?

Answer

Yes, as long as the nikaah is done.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
