Working for a Property Management Services Company

Question

Is it permissible to work for a company that does mainly Property Management Services like collecting rental etc (Which is halaal), however their clients are banks or insurance companies? Can you please advise on the above, and please let me know if you need any further information or if anything is unclear.

Answer

This is permissible, but it is better to make istighfaar for it is not the best thing to be associated with banks etc.

( و ) جاز ( إجارة بيت بسواد الكوفة ) أي قراها ( لا بغيرها على الأصح ) وأما الأمصار وقرى غير الكوفة فلا يمكنون لظهور شعار الإسلام فيها وخص سواد الكوفة لأن غالب أهلها أهل الذمة ( ليتخذ بيت نار أو كنيسة أو بيعة أو يباع فيه الخمر ) وقالا لا ينبغي ذلك لأنه إعانة على المعصية وبه قالت الثلاثة زيلعي (الدر المختار 6/ 392)
