A muslim brother of mine who is becoming an Alim told me that according to Imam Malik, you are allowed to touch the qur'an under some circumstances without wudhu, reciting the qur'an by touching it and looking inside without wudhu, is this true?

Answer

According to us, this is not allowed.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
