Opening the face of the deceased in the graveyard
Question
A few minutes before the scheduled time of Janazah Salaah at the cemetery, the face of the deceased male is opened. A line is formed and people file past to see the face one last time. Is this permissible or not?
Answer
This is not a sunnat practice.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
