Step son and step mother staying together alone
Question
Can a widow step mother and step son stay alone without a mahram. My father in law passed away 2 years back and my step mother in law says that she is my husband's responsibility now. They stay together alone discussing things and as a wife I am not comfortable with this.
Answer
If there is absolutely no thought of fitnah then it is permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
