Are arcade games allowed in Islam?

Question

Are arcade games allowed in Islam? My teacher said no because you do not know how many tickets you will get so it is gambling. Please clarify.

Answer

This falls within the ambit of gambling. Hence, one should refrain from this.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
