Breaking one's promise with Allah Ta'ala
Question
If someone did a promise with Allah Ta'ala to leave some specific sin in private and no people are of witness to that. If the man did again that sin due to some reason, is there any kaffaara and what type of such promise is this?
Answer
He should make sincere taubah and give some sadaqah as well.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
