Question

Should a Dua be made after the Janaazah Salaah?

Answer

The Janaazah Salaah is in reality a Dua to Allah Ta'ala for the deceased. The practice of making an additional Dua after the Janaazah Salaah is not established from the Ahaadith of Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) and hence should be omitted.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
