Question

Is it permissible to pray Salaatul Hajaat on behalf of another person and pray to Allah to ease his difficulties?

Answer

Yes. In fact, it is even more worthy act of merit and reward. The hadeeth says that when a Muslim prays for his brother in his absence, an angel is appointed to say: “May you also enjoy the same.” i.e. may you receive the same that you are beseeching on half of your brother.
