What is the meaning of baandi?

Question

In fazaail-e-amaal, at several places the tazkira of "baandi" occurs. What is it actual meaning? Is it lawful now or not?

Answer

1. Slave girl

2. Slavery does not exist nowadays.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
