Question

I suffer from waswas regarding kufr. I had said something and doubted whether what I said was correct or not and what if I have done kufr. Later on I completely forgot about what I said. So I took my shahadah and said that I wouldn't do it till I get it confirmed. In a sense I was neither confirming nor denying it. Have I done correct. I'm afraid I might have disbelieved in what I must believe in

Answer

Abandon all these types of stray thoughts. Sit in the company of righteous pious ulama and make ta`leem of the books that they recommend daily like Fazaa'il-e-Sadaqaat.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
