Muslims celebrating Independence Day

Question

Is it allowed to celebrate an independence of a country like India, etc. for a Muslim citizen?

Answer

This has got nothing to do with Islam and it has got no place in the sunnah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
