Dishwashing tablet containing glycerine and alcohol
Question
Dear respected Mufti Saab, I wanted to ask that if the dishwashing washing tablet contains glycerin along with alcohol (and other impure substances), are dishes that are washed impure. The machine does have a rinse cycle but then the 'rinse aid' that too if it contains glycerin along with alcohol or other impure ingredients, are dishes washed with it impure? According to the website , http://www.info-pg.com, dishwasher tablets and 'rinse aid' products do contain glycerin, alcohol ( not sure if all do but some products that I've checked do).
Answer
If the ingredient which it is being washed with is impure and najis then obviously the plate will be impure.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
