Will nikaah take place by saying "Will you marry me?" in front of people?

Question

If a boy asks a girl in front of people *Do you want to marry me* or *Will you marry me* and the girl replies yes, does that mean they are married?

Answer

No.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
