Holding the Quraan and lying
Question
I have committed a very big sin. I am really ashamed. And I am very much disturbed. I took hold of a Quraan and lied. The Quraan was in my hand and I lied. I was very much scared. Please help me and tell me how can I repent?
Answer
Taking a false oath is a major sin. You should sincerely repent to Allah Tala and beg Him to forgive you. Make a firm resolve that you will never repeat this major sin in the future. If you sincerely repent to Allah Tala, He will definitely forgive you.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
