Hating the kuffaar for the sake of Islam

Question

Did Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) hate those kuffar (e.g. Abu Jahal) who were against Muslims?

Answer

Hating kuffaar for the sake of Islam is a requisite of deen. Every Muslim is required to hate.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
