What is the correct method of removing unwanted hair?

Question

Answer

Pubic hair, scrotal hair, the hair between the scrotum and the back passage and the hair around the anal passage will be removed through shaving. The hair under the armpits can be shaved as well as plucked. However, plucking is preferred if one is able to.

( و ) يستحب ( حلق عانته وتنظيف بدنه بالاغتسال في كل أسبوع مرة )

و في رد المحتار : قوله ( ويستحب حلق عانته ) قال في الهندية ويبتدىء من تحت السرة ولو عالج بالنورة يجوز كذا في الغرائب وفي الأشباه والسنة في عانة المرأة النتف قوله ( وتنظيف بدنه ) بنحو إزالة الشعر من إبطيه ويجوز فيه الحلق والنتف أولى وفي المجتبى عن بعضهم وكلاهما حسن (رد المحتار 6/406)
