Developing a website to recruit models

Question

I am a web developer. I have a job offer to build a website which will hire male and female models. Is it permissible for me to develop this site?

Answer

This job is not permissible as it entails displaying pictures of males and females. Pictures of all animate objects are haraam and forbidden in Shari’ah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
